About this project

The second phase of Sleaford is now installed and this elegant market town is looking better than ever!
New products include post-mounted orientation signs, fingerpost signs and narrow monoliths and – ginnel plaques. A ginnel is the colloquial name for a narrow alley between buildings and some of these have been marked out with attractive brass plaques set into the pavement.
The combination of the well-proved Barcelona monolith, Stockholm orientation signs and Venice fingerpost is well proven in many town centres in the UK and the system is so versatile it’s equally at home in a contemporary modern setting as in a peaceful Georgian town.

North Kesteven District Council issued a tender for a new wayfinding strategy in Sleaford, which we were delighted to be awarded. This involved researching the existing brand guidelines and resources, developing a new brand and toolkit, creating a basemap and providing a DSP (design specification pack).
