About This Project

Berkeley Square is a major residential development on Ordsall Lane, Salford, creating a new community of 500 luxury apartments set around a landscaped central square. Designed with a strong focus on wellbeing, connectivity and high-quality communal spaces, the development forms part of the ongoing transformation of the area between Manchester city centre and MediaCityUK.

Working with Curley Group, Hornbeck supplied a selection of our Mettro® street furniture, combining clean, contemporary design with robust materials.

The scheme incorporates Iroko timber, selected for its natural character, durability and ability to complement the surrounding landscaping and architectural finishes. The understated design of the Mettro® range provides a cohesive look throughout the external spaces, while creating comfortable and practical areas for residents to sit, relax and enjoy the surroundings.

The West Block forms the first phase of the Berkeley Square development. With the East Block to follow shortly, Berkeley Square is another example of Hornbeck working alongside Curley Group to deliver high-quality, durable street furniture that complements contemporary residential developments and enhances the spaces between the buildings.
