Installation guidelines
These notes outline common installation methods for the Mettro 103. They are provided as general guidance and do not replace advice from qualified professionals.
Free standing
- Leave in place, weighted to the ground.
Bolt down – Surface fix
- Excavate to the required foundation dimensions (see data tables).
- Fill with C40 grade concrete and level off, leaving enough space below ground level for backfilling (see step 5). Allow concrete to set.
- Position base plates on the concrete pad as required.
- Fix base plates to pad using M12 zinc-plated anchor bolts.
- Backfill to the finished ground level with the appropriate materials.
